Instructions for using e-Consultation system                   

You can view the Local Development Framework (LDF) documents on the LDF homepage and clicking on the document you wish to read. You do not need to login to view the documents.

The website also provides an interactive means to submit representations on the LDF during specific public consultation periods. You must login in order to make a representation.

New users must register your details with the Council by clicking on the Register now link at the top of this page and filling in the registration form. In order to register, you will need to give us your name, email address, and postal address. This will enable us to contact you to confirm that your representation has been received. An automatically generated email will be sent to you confirming your login details.

Please note that if you have made comments during previous consultations and you provided a contact email address, this will already be entered in the consultation system and a profile created for you. You do not need to register as a new user, simply contact us to allow you online access to your profile. 

If you have previously registered, you already have a profile set up and you can simply login using the same email and password.  If you forget your password simply click on the Request a new password link at the top of this page and a temporary one will be emailed to you.  If any of your personal details or email address change you can amend them once you login by clicking on My Details.

There are a number of steps that must be taken to make a representation using the online form:

1. Once you login, in order to submit your representation you will need to select the document you are interested in from the list of documents currently open for public consultation and then select the relevant chapter, paragraph or policy.
2. Click on the following icon: to view the online response form that will allow you to submit representations.
   To view any representations that have been made, click on the following icon: .
   (Note: Representations are processed when the actual consultation ends and not before, only representations processed will be available to view.)

Document Key

To search for representations in the documents, first open up the document you are interested in then look for the icons shown below:

Click this icon to make a representation (during consultation periods)
Click this icon to view other people's representations.
Indicates that no other representations have been made on this item.
Indicates that this policy is represented on the proposals map. To view the proposals map click the globe icon
